Song and Story: Between the Worlds

Rachel Newton of The Shee and storyteller Grace Banks unwrap the mutual influences between story and song by exploring how to move between the two in creation and performance. Fresh from her Changeling project, Rachel reflects on the challenges and opportunities, while Grace draws on her own journeys between story and song. David Francis hosts the creative dialogue which puts forward the question – are music and story two sides of the same coin?

Come and hear, discuss, create with us through this day of discovery.

Saturday 29th November, from 10.30am-4.30pm

Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh
